On what keeps him engaged as a father:
"Engagement and motivation just feels natural. I am responsible for molding two young minds. Teaching them right from wrong. Instilling self-respect, independence, book and street smarts, all while ensuring that they enjoy being a kid. It's a tall order, especially in this world we live in, but it's one that I take a tremendous amount of pride in pursuing."
On his relationship with his father:
"To this day, I say that my dad is and will always be the best man I know. Although at times he could be hard on my brothers and I, he also instilled a sense of discipline, character, and a work ethic in each of us that is hallmark of each of our personalities. He is the gold standard with regards to how to raise kids - especially little brown boys - in this world. I fully plan on following his lead, though I'll be willing to give my kids a little more slack."
